Extra fields in profile - dropdown selector

I’m not sure if this is already on the to-do list, but having a dropdown menu as an extra userfield would be useful. I see you can already have a text box or confirmation box, but I would like the user to be able to select what kind of user they are from a number of options in a dropdown box when they register.

Would this be possible?
