A discussion is taking place about an issue where the full names of some users are not visible. Kushalghosh9899 reported the problem and shared some settings that are enabled, including “full name required” and “prioritize username in ux.” Moin suggested that the issue might be due to a Discourse feature that hides the full name if it is the same as the username, but Kushalghosh9899 found a solution by using a plugin from the Meta Discourse topic “Remove name suppression on posts”.
For few users full name is not visible and when I checked in the page source or by inspect element I found out that for few users it is not fetching the full name at all, so I don’t know what may be the problem is. FYI below are some settings which is enabled
Note - I have checked that no css is blocking it rather it is not getting fetched from the backend itself
Are username and name of the second user the same?
There is a Customization > Theme component changing that
