(Superseded) How can a topic be considered `Top`?

Topic Superseded by: How are "Top" Topics Calculated?

I can see from our Top menu:

the topic “Less Frequent…” is 1st
the topic “Should be…” is 3rd

While 3rd topic has more replies and views and same last activity.

The only different I can find is the creation day of 3rd topic is much older than 1st topic. Could anyone explain me how do we calculate the “hot” or “top” score of a topic?
