So I just noticed in meta.discourse.com that when I typed safe mode in plain text, it automatically creates a hyperlink like this: safe mode

  • Notice how in the editor I did not use markdown to make the word safe mode hyperlinked.

What is this feature called? How can I enable it on my forum?

You can use watched word to change a term into a link

@moin is correct, we use Watched Words to linkify eg safe mode, data explorer, standard install, etc, though the Linkify words in post theme component has extra functionality if you need it. :+1:

Both solutions are exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much.

I chose the vanilla option by @Moin to reduce adding to many plugins.
