How can I see AI-translated posts?

Some days ago, a week or so, I could see translations by changing language i.e. FIEN. Tittles, topics etc. would change to English. Now only UI, categories and translated tags will be shown in English, not posts.

Basically the situation is now this:

The default is Finnish and changing my interface to EN will work per se nicely, except translated posts will remain in Finnish (or what ever language is used, I suppose ). Posts are yet translated:

So, what am I missing now?

Did you tell Discourse that you understand both languages and want to see the original in case a topic was written in any of them?

In your preferences there is

That one I forgot to tell. I’ve tried both options, telling all languages I can read and FI only. If I’m remembering right I used FI & EN at the moment when I realized I’m not offered translated content, only UI, when I change local from FI to EN.

As long as you tell Discourse you understand fi it won’t show you the English translation. You need to remove it from the languages you understand.

That was it. When I removed FI from my languages, it started to show translated texts.

Thanks.

That has changed at some point. I understand the logic behind it, but for me as an admin and everything proof reading and checking was easier task earlier when all I needed to do was change wanted locale from UI.

Just add no language to the Content languages setting, and it should work as before - showing you all content in the interface language.

Yes of course :man_facepalming:

Thanks!

(And again, we really really really need boosts back)
