I’d like to know how a user can find out their trust level and the criteria for advancing to the next level.
As an administrator, I can see it, but not as a user

They can see it by visiting their profile. This is yours as a logged out user (i.e. not admin). It’s at the bottom.
If you have changed the TL default settings you’ll need to publish the criteria somewhere. If not, you could share this somewhere.

One tip: change those basic, regular etc to real trustlevels. The situation is a bit confusing when we are talking about TLs and UI uses totally different names.
Most of users aren’t interested in trust levels, though.
