Hmm…is the file not there? What do you get when you run: cd /var/discourse/containers ls -la Also, just to check, when you ran the commands in my previous post, you didn’t put a slash in front of containers, right?

You can use one of the templates from the templates folder. For example if you would like to run a stand alone server just use the standalone.yml file. Example: cp /var/discourse/samples/standalone.yml /var/discourse/containers/app.yml In there you can make the necessary changes.

AFAIK when not in the container, containers is a subdirectory of /var/discourse; there is no /containers directory.
