How many people are watching or tracking a topic?

I’d be interested to know how many people watch or track a specific topic, but I can’t seem to find that information in the UI. Is there a way to get this data, maybe through a JSON request?

I don’t think we’re exposing this information. If you want that information available via JSON, you’ll have to write a plugin.

Can certainly be done via a Data Explorer query of course.

I think it would be interesting not just for admins but for users too.

Thanks for your quick answers guys! I can’t use the Data Explorer as we’re hosted with Communiteq (formerly DiscourseHosting), so I was hoping for a built-in solution :wink:

Wait… why does that stop you from using that plugin? Or is it that Communiteq (formerly DiscourseHosting) doesn’t provide that plugin as of yet?

Correct, it’s not in the standard hosting package.
