Let’s say I have parent category Level 1 with its sub-categories.

How can I prevent users from posting in the Level 1 category?

Figured out.

I will need:

  1. Edit Category > Security

  2. Remove everyone

  3. Edit permissions

  4. Create everyone with See permission

IIRC there is currently no way to have sub-categories with more lenient permissions than their parent category.
Would that be a problem for what you had in mind?

That’s only if you remove See permissions.
