Non credo che il plugin ufficiale supporti le pubblicità nella barra laterale. Su College Confidential, abbiamo aggiunto annunci nel tema usando essenzialmente un’immagine di sfondo:
Abbiamo anche utilizzato OptinMonster per far apparire gli annunci.
Gli annunci nella barra laterale sinistra non sembrano una buona idea per i siti che utilizzano la navigazione nella barra laterale. Gli annunci nella barra laterale non funzionano nemmeno sui telefoni. La barra laterale destra sembra particolarmente soggetta a banner blindness. Tuttavia, sarebbe utile avere quello spazio disponibile per gli annunci, anche solo per supportare i formati pubblicitari piĂą diffusi.
