How to add min or max values in custom fields?

I have found this thread and know that discourse can add custom fields for registration

I want to add an age field and prevent from submitting when they are 13years old below. I know it can be done using min in number_field is it possible in this custom user fields?

I think it would require a plugin.

I also think that if your require that it be at least 13 kids will know to lie when they create the account. Better to accept their age and then deny them access, I’d think. But I would probably do that with a plugin too.
