Hello, I created a Discourse forum, but I don’t have pages like Terms of Service and
Privacy. I couldn’t find how to activate them. My forum has only an FAQ page and an about page. I took a screenshot of the page below from the forum we are currently on, and I want it to be like this one.
Have you entered something in the company_name site setting?
Entering something will create the topics the information is taken from in the staff category.
If you don’t want to enter a company name, you can remove it after the topics have been created. Then, Discourse automatically deletes them, but you can undelete them manually.
Hi there, perhaps try this?
IIRC you can also find the pages’ content in topics in the #Staff category.
Thank you, I finally managed to create it. I have one more question: can I create a page like those pages, for example, a weekly newsletter? Is it done with a plugin? If so, which plugin? Thank you again, by the way.
Perhaps create a category/tag for newsletter topics, and put those in there?
If you have the newsletter from and external site, perhaps check out Embed Discourse comments on another website via Javascript?
One approach would be to simply publish each newsletter edition as a topic in a Newsletter category that users can subscribe to (the “Watch” feature in Discourse).
But if you want standalone pages, check out Page Publishing.
