Can I specify defaults for topics in a category ?
I want to have this set by default for all new topics in a category …

I don’t think that’s currently possible, though someone may correct me. The standard ones available in the category settings tab are slow-mode and auto-close, but I can’t see one for auto-delete.

Yeah, didn´t find it myself. You think that´s worth a feature request ?

I think it’s worth a pop. Especially if you’ve got a good use case.

I think a couple of people might have asked for it in this topic, though it was slightly different to the feature the topic was suggesting:

I think this would be very useful as well. We have a category where each post is a wiki (for our internal documentation). We use replies to discuss change-requests and these are deleted after 30 days. We can set up auto wiki on a category level, but it would be really great if we can automatically add a topic timer (auto delete replies after X days) to each new topic in the category. Right now we have to do it manually for each topic which is a lot of extra clicks.
