Is it possible having no sidebar as default starting interface when a user logs in initially.

You can set the Navigation Menu to Header Dropdown mode in Site Settings.

In this topic Can I default to a hidden sidebar? a theme component was shared that closes the sidebar by default. It was created 2 years ago and I don’t use it myself, so I am not 
sure that it still works but I assume so.
