Is A.I. involved in Discourse? For example, how it suggests similar topics to the one we are creating? If that is case, what kind of algorithms are used?
We have a plugin that uses machine learning to try to identify sentiment/toxicity (Google Perspective API Plugin), but otherwise we don’t use any sort of AI.
Similar topics are determined based on the weight applied when topics are indexed for internal search. Matches in titles are more heavily weighted than the post body.

Interesting. In case you would dissociate Machine Learning from A.I, any ML algorithm involved? (apart from the ML-based plugin you mentionned)
There’s no machine learning in Discourse by default, only via plugin.
