Problemas con el convertidor de HTML a Markdown en el correo entrante

Hola.

Utilizamos el alojamiento de Discourse, proporcionado generosamente a proyectos de código abierto, para discourse.nixos.org. Cuando enviamos nuestro correo electrónico NixOS Weekly a Discourse, el HTML se convierte a Markdown, pero el formato parece bastante incorrecto. Cuando reviso el HTML sin procesar del correo electrónico, parece que está bien formateado, y tenemos activada la configuración de Discourse «incoming email prefer htmls» (la opción predeterminada).

Los principales problemas de formato que observo son:

  1. Los párrafos dentro de las etiquetas LI no están sangrados.
  2. Faltan saltos de línea después de los encabezados.

Acabo de mirar más de cerca el HTML y parece que quizás el primer problema es un error en el HTML. La falta de saltos de línea después de los encabezados sigue pareciendo válida.
