Does your son get push notifications from the forums on his phone?
For younger / less technically inclined users, I’m finding that push notifications are absolutely essential to getting them to check the forums.
I think that people generally expect to receive an upfront push notification when their attention is needed, and anything that does not deliver a notification will be forgotten.
Apple made this really tough on iPhones, but I’m seeing that those users do return to the forums once push notifications are properly enabled on their devices.
