Let's Encrypt invalid email address

I turned off email encryption but that still causes an error and boot camp gives me an error too, please help ASAP.

What do you mean by this?

What address did you enter in the email field for Let’s Encrypt?

I didn’t enter anything, where would I even enter the email address?

the error clearly says the issue

you need to have an email in your /var/discourse/containers/app.yml file

If you added the Lets Encrypt template, uncomment below to get a free SSL certificate
LETSENCRYPT_ACCOUNT_EMAIL: email@mydomain.com

Actually the email address isn’t mandatory. It’s used for notification emails and Let’s Encrypt is configured regardless of whether an email is provided. If you don’t want to use Let’s Encrypt then you can’t use discourse-setup.

It’s more likely that an invalid address was entered.

I can use email@gmail.com right?

You can, but it isn’t required.

Alright, I made an email forward admin@specialdomain.lolfun do I set that as the email?

You can use any address you want, or no address. It is used to that let’s encrypt can warn you if the certificate is about to expire.

thanks but my forum is now live!
