It appears that this plugin doesn’t work with Discourse’s new official Horizon theme. Here’s what it looks like on Horizon (note that the timeline is gone, but the chat window is not present).
If I switch the theme to Foundation, it still works as expected:
I’ve checked the HTML/CSS and it appears that the chat plugin does load in the Horizon Theme, but it’s styling is set up in such a way that it cannot be seen.
