I am not tech savvy, and I tried to set up where I can install plugins on Discourse. I didn’t realize that the root password was already entered into WinSCP, so I put in my own password, and now I am locked out from WinSCP and can’t do anything. How can this be unlocked, please?

You’ll need to contact your server provider for assistance on resetting your root passwors. Then you can use the new password to access the server.
