My user is trying to create a post in the Category which he has access to but he is facing a error which says “An error Occurred: You are not permitted to view the requested source.”. I am not able to attach the screenshot here as my company doesn’t allow sharing data to external sites.
Do you have moderator or admin access?
Some things to check:
- if this is a newly created user they might face restrictions during the first 24 hours
- also check the trust level was not locked for some reason
- check they have not been silenced either manually or by the system, this can also happen depending on your Discourse settings
- if needs be, clear cache and cookies then log out and in again; does the error still show?
This is where I would start looking.
