Aiuto nel tentativo di risolvere un problema INP

Hi,

i have a inp issue on mobile in my forum from some time now. Google shows 547 ms right now.

I"m debugging it from 1 month, and it’s looks like the main issue is the search in mobile. Debugbear shows me that:

BUTTON#search-button.onclick, [.search-dropdown button#search-button] - 392ms INP

Is there a easy fix for this?

thank you

Can you post more details from the inspector/debugging? Also, which theme are you using, is it a custom one or one of the themes provided by Discourse core?

In the past, i was using the FKB Pro - Social theme, but now, i’m using the default theme for two months without no changes in the inp metric.

Also, i dont use any plugins, except the Google One Tap Login/Signup

Here’s the screenshot i have from debugbear and cloudflare rum:

I am currently testing now without the summary functionality, from the Discourse AI

Hi,

I’m coming back to say that my INP dropped from 547 to 227 after the 28 days period. The changes I made include switching back to the default theme (foundation), disabling some plugins and components, and moving the VPS to a country closer to my users.

Cool, thanks for following up. Do you have a sense on whether one of those steps help more than the others? Switching theme vs disabling plugins/components vs moving closer to your users?

Another update: I’m currently at 173 inp now. I think what really helped the most was disabling unofficial plugins and themes. I had already done other tests using different VPS locations and providers. I even tried using Bunny CDN and tested the full-site CDN configuration for a month, but nothing worked.
