New user trying to send a PM to staff

I just joined and would like to send a PM to one particular moderator. Am I able to do this as a new user?

Trust level 0 can’t send PM’s, no.

That said, it doesn’t take much to move up to trust level 1:

Get to trust level 1 by…

  • Entering at least 5 topics
  • Reading at least 30 posts
  • Spend a total of 10 minutes reading posts
