I dont know why this is so but havent seen anything more on the internet so it may be a small issue with discourse
Running ./discourse-setup gets the web server running and it says I need further configuration, refreshing then just shows an error again
Also, how do I “restart” discourse incase a server shuts off?
Which cloud provider are you with?
I dont really use a cloud provider
Can you describe the install?
A production install on a vmware environment..

I think you may have discovered that it does. I highly recommend you use a cloud VPS using the standard install. It takes all of 30 minutes to set up, if that and you will get much more efficient support on here.
@raadtotheraad were you able to get your site up and running?
