Not receiving badges in restricted categories

Can you be more specific about the issue you encounter?

Which badge do you think should have been awarded but wasn’t?

How long did you wait? Badges are triggered by various background jobs which are executed in different spans of hours (days for some?).

I’ve been looking at the existing badge queries to get an idea of which queries target posts in the badge_posts table, or use some other method of excluding posts from protected categories from being used.
