Numbers are not displayed correctly

(Christine Zhuravleva) #1

Please note that when I write ‘2’ and other numbers in a topic it is displayed as ‘1’ and I can’t change it.

Please check and fix.

You’re making an ordered list, which in markdown means typing

2. item
56. item
1. item

Which comes out as

  1. item
  2. item
  3. item
  4. item

Thanks, but it barely helps me.

Why Can’t I write just numbers without creating lists?

Not following, what exactly are you trying to post, can you post, can you paste it in?

Hi Sam,

"1. The first question to ask yourself is if you want to work with one PractiTest project or with multiple PractiTest projects.

If you have a limited number of people and everyone is working on the same projects, you may want to work in 1 or a limited number of projects.

If you have separate teams working on separate assignments, with defined integration points, you may want to have each team and product family working in their separate PractiTest projects.

The second question is how to organize your data. - HERE I wanted to put number ‘2’

Sometimes you may want to organize your data based on products, other times releases, and at times based on other criteria like whether a test is a regression or a sanity test, etc. See the additional information here"

Can you try this tutorial? It is quite excellent.

2\. suppresses the automatic list

2. Finally, a two!

Thanks all for your answers!
