Pregunta sobre migración a vBulletin en preventas

Hola,

Estoy considerando presentar Discourse como una opción para un cliente que tiene una comunidad próspera en vBulletin. Veo que hay un script disponible para importar desde vb5. No veo un método para importar mensajes privados entre usuarios, pero escribo para confirmar si esto es cierto o no.

Sería genial si alguien con experiencia pudiera aconsejarme.

Además, entiendo que con el plan Business, el equipo de Discourse realizará las migraciones por ti. Esto es excelente, aunque mi cliente no necesitaría el plan Business a partir de ahora. ¿Sería atrevido comprar ese plan y luego rebajarme al siguiente mes?

Con el pago anticipado de un contrato anual, podemos migrar sus datos desde otros software de foros comunes, incluidos phpBB, vBulletin, XenForo, Drupal, BuddyPress, Vanilla, etcétera.

Puede contactarnos en team@discourse.org para que podamos echar un vistazo a su base de datos y verificar si podemos agregar esta función al importador durante su importación.

I’ll have a chat with the prospective client first and see if exploring this is an option for them budget-wise.

I’ve added PMs to vbulletin and resolved a problem with images attached to, but not linked in, a post from being imported. I’m running a couple vbulletin imports now and hopefully will clean the script up and submit a PR in the next week or two.
