Currently, I don’t see a possibility to disable sending email notifications for private messages. Am I right?

It would be nice:

  • to have a global setting to disable email notifications for private messages OR
  • to have a setting in the “send private message form”, to disable e-mail notifications for this message.

What do you think about that?

You can change default email messages level but users can change it. To disable completely would take a plugin.
