If I have something important in the Staff group, is there a way to push it by email to all the members regardless of their tracking settings for the inbox?

Or alternatively is there a mechanism like “default tracking categories” but for group messages so i can set it up that everybody watches it?

you can mention @staff (if the group settings allow it).
