Mi sembra di ricordare che sia successa una cosa simile con l’aggiornamento PG12, e ora non sono sicuro, ma ho dovuto eseguire ./launcher stop app1/2/3 (tutte le altre app sul server poiché eseguiamo più container) poiché è l’unico modo in cui l’aggiornamento ha funzionato, ma ora non sono sicuro.

Penso di aver pubblicato nell’argomento di aggiornamento ma tutte le risposte sono state eliminate automaticamente: un moderatore potrebbe controllare le mie risposte lì per vedere se è stato così anche allora, per favore? (Ho provato di nuovo a fermare tutti gli altri container, ma purtroppo non funziona ancora).

Grazie, ho visto che e mi sono chiesto perché fallirebbe dato che Discourse controlla l’ambiente tramite docker - non pensavo che una vecchia installazione di docker potesse causare il problema (mi chiedo se sia possibile per Discourse controllare la versione di docker prima di tentare gli aggiornamenti?)

Quindi un aggiornamento di docker dovrebbe funzionare? O è meglio fare come ha fatto Jay e spostarsi su un nuovo server? Stavo effettivamente pianificando di spostare i siti su un nuovo server ma di solito aggiorno prima i forum sul vecchio server…

Dovresti chiedere a Jay, dato che non sono sicuro di dove sia finita.

L’ultimo che ho corretto è risultato essere un problema con un indice danneggiato.

Sono per lo più in vacanza fino all’inizio dell’anno. È improbabile che abbia tempo libero fino a dopo il primo.

Se si tratta di un’emergenza e hai un budget, puoi pubblicare su Marketplace o contattarmi direttamente.

Grazie Jay. Il forum è attivo (tramite ./launcher start app), quindi non c’è fretta immediata.

Mi sembra di ricordare di aver già avuto indici corrotti, quindi cercherò nei miei vecchi thread (anche se sono sicuro che ciò sia stato evidenziato da un messaggio di errore correlato). Sono anche abbastanza sicuro che @sam abbia detto che avrebbero integrato dei controlli per evitare che la stessa cosa accada in futuro (ma potrei sbagliarmi).

Come hai scoperto che l’indice era corrotto? Semplicemente provando a reindicizzare lo schema?

Puoi condividere la tua versione di Docker, la versione del sistema operativo e la versione del kernel?

Abbiamo riscontrato un numero considerevole di errori come questo, ma non sono riuscito a riprodurlo sui miei droplet.

La versione di Docker è 20.10.3 build 48d30b5 e il server è in esecuzione su CentOS 7, che non raggiungerà la fine del supporto (EOL) fino a giugno del prossimo anno, ma la versione del kernel (3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64) è una di quelle che non superano i tuoi controlli, come da questo thread - sebbene commentare il controllo come da quel thread abbia funzionato bene in precedenza (anche di recente con 3.2.0.beta4-dev (cdbe0f74e8) su un altro forum sullo stesso server). Il forum con questo problema è attualmente su 3.1.0.beta2 (non ho provato ad aggiornare gli altri forum che sono su 3.2.0.beta4-dev).

Il kernel è in realtà uno dei motivi per cui stiamo passando a un nuovo server, quindi dovrei fare un backup di questo forum così com’è (3.1.0.beta2) e ripristinarlo in una nuova installazione di Discourse per vedere se funziona? E poi, se potesse esserti d’aiuto, tornare al vecchio server e aggiornare Docker o il kernel per vedere se l’aggiornamento funzionerà allora?

Una cosa che ho notato è che quando sono andato nel pannello di amministrazione/aggiornamento, ci è voluto molto tempo per aggiornare le versioni, poi quando ho provato a fare clic su aggiorna docker, ho ottenuto solo una schermata vuota (è stato allora che ho provato ./launcher rebuild.
Ho un altro vecchio forum di Discourse su questo server e la stessa cosa sta succedendo qui. Questo screenshot potrebbe essere d’aiuto - non riesce a trovare alcuni file docker:

Facendo la stessa cosa su un forum più recente (sullo stesso server) non ottengo gli stessi errori quando vado su /upgrade > aggiorna docker (solo Failed to register Service Worker: TypeError: NetworkError: Load failed nella scheda sources degli strumenti del browser).

Quindi immagino che sia perché sono versioni più vecchie (ma pensavo che quando sono versioni più vecchie di solito si aggiorna alla versione più recente finché non si arriva all’ultima versione : /)

Oh, capisco. Se qualcuno riesce a riprodurre questo problema in qualcosa come l’ultima LTS di Ubuntu o qualcosa di più moderno, me lo faccia sapere.

Sono riuscito a spostare con successo il forum su un altro server tramite importazione, quindi posso aggiornare il kernel sul vecchio server e riprovare a ricostruire in seguito, se lo desideri, tuttavia sospetto che non sia questo il problema, il problema sembra essere correlato a più contenitori, e dove due venivano regolarmente mantenuti aggiornati, e due no (erano i due più vecchi che non sono riusciti a ricostruire).

Qual è stato l’errore? Probabilmente dovrai condividere i log completi.

Dovrai assolutamente ricostruire piuttosto che eseguire l’aggiornamento dall’UX.

Intendi l’output completo o qualcosa dai file di log? (Se sì, quali?)

Sei riuscito a creare un container sul nuovo server?

Ho installato una copia fresca di Discourse, quindi ho eseguito un’importazione del backup di Jay (è così che di solito sposto i forum di Discourse su un nuovo server).

Quindi, usare il nuovo server?

Sì, è quello che ho fatto - mi chiedevo solo se @Falco volesse che eseguissi dei test sul vecchio server prima di dismetterlo, nel caso il team DC volesse indagare sul perché sia successo.
