Recent error in component $.widget is not a function

Today I started seeing the banner Your site may not work because theme / component Guild AI DiscoTOC has errors on https://my.guild.ai

The issue appears to be the use of $.widget here:

Has something in Discourse changed that would lead to this? What’s your advice to fix the problem?

Looks like your forked this component 2 years ago, so it went stale and incompatible with current Discourse.

You will need to either move to the official component, or rebase your fork.
