Hi,
Just wondering if there are plugins that allow us to use Discourse as an alternative to JIRA or Zendesk, for example?
Specifically, is there a way to export a report to Excel file, creating charts.
Thanks!
The discussion revolves around using Discourse as an alternative to JIRA or Zendesk. tenzan inquires about plugins that can facilitate this, specifically seeking the ability to export reports to Excel and create charts. IAmGav suggests the Tickets Plugin, while pfaffman recommends the Data Explorer Plugin for report exporting and chart creation. Falco shares their experience of using Discourse as an internal JIRA replacement, highlighting the importance of the Discourse Assign plugin for assigning tickets. tenzan asks for further plugin recommendations from Falco, and merefield suggests that if the Tickets Plugin lacks desired features, users can consider funding changes through the Marketplace.

There is a ticket plug in you can use
Thanks a lot! I’ll check it out.
See the Data Explorer Plugin
Thanks, Jay! I appreciate it!
We use Discourse as our own Jira internally and our main plugin is Discourse Assign
Thanks, Rafael. This is an important plugin, as a ticket should be assigned to someone. Great!
Hi Rafael,
Does your company also use Tickets Plugin and Data Explorer Plugin mentioned above?

If the Tickets Plugin lacks features you’d like to add, consider functionally speccing the proposal and funding the changes Marketplace
