I just upgraded to the latest today.
I run the system from http://www.example.com/discourse/
The system is set to only allow logged in users.
When users go to http://www.example.com/discourse/ they are being redirected to http://www.example.com/login/
In v1.9 they were being redirected to http://www.example.com/discourse/login/

@Falco are there open issues with requires logic in a subfolder ?

Can you please use example.com when giving examples? (See RFC2606 ). Also, you can prevent links with backquotes: http://some.example.net/without/actual/link. Thanks!

Will wait for @tgxworld review, since he mentions a recent fix in this code.
