I just did a fresh install of discourse. I uploaded a tar.gz of a previous backup of a discourse i had installed in other server. However, the “restore” button is greyed out. What do?

You’ll need to enable restores via Site Settings.

Do we indicate this anywhere on the page? If not we should add a message that says: “Restoring from backup is disabled. You can enable it in site settings”

There is a tooltip if you hover over the disabled button. But I think nobody hovers over a button which is clearly disabled.

Yeah we should absolutely not rely on tooltips for important information. We should get that text on the page.

Made a change that puts the message on-page so we don’t have to rely on hover
