I’m self hosting Discourse. Latest version, up to date, no third-party plugins. I have the PWA installed on my iPhone (iOS 26.5) and it is almost perfect. However, when I reply to a topic, the text area zooms in, the reply button scrolls out of view, and I have to rotate the phone to get the screen …

Hmm. Looks like this had been fixed a few weeks ago [immagine] Reply button not visible when composing on iOS PWA Bug Please try rebuilding the app container on your server to pick up the latest changes. The composer should now resize correctly after the u…

I think it is a regression. I rebuilt a couple of days ago. I will try again now, however. What version info do I need to provide to validate I’m on a (supposedly) fixed version?

Any news on this? Still seeing it after the 2026.7 update.

I don’t think this is a fix that was backported to v2026.7. You would need to track the latest branch for this change.

Can it please be backported? I really want to stay on a stable release, and it seems like this was a fix for a regression, and is quite small.

It’s being backported for these versions: 2026.7: FIX: Restore pinch-zoom over the mobile composer editor and inputs [backport 2026.7] #42679 2026.6: FIX: Restore pinch-zoom over the mobile composer editor and inputs [backport 2026.6] #42680 2026.1: FIX: Restore pinch-zoom over the mobile composer…

I’ve updated! Thank you for back-porting. I’ve updated to v2026.7.1 at 2b482315. The problem is not fully solved, however. The same behavior presents when tapping into the textarea. The difference is that now when I dismiss the keyboard I can pinch-zoom-out and when I tap into the text area again t…
