I think it is a regression. I rebuilt a couple of days ago. I will try again now, however. What version info do I need to provide to validate I’m on a (supposedly) fixed version?

I just updated my Discourse instance; I’m now at 158af4674d75807b5d5cb423430630ff2140e6ef . Unfortunately the problem persists, identical to the recording I shared in the first post. I uninstalled and reinstalled the PWA (in attempt to purge cache) and still no dice.

I don’t think this is a fix that was backported to v2026.7. You would need to track the latest branch for this change.

Can it please be backported? I really want to stay on a stable release, and it seems like this was a fix for a regression, and is quite small.
