After some time now that the forum is online with discourse, I’m seeing lots of search queries that make me think bots/crawlers are messing with it.
Am I mistaken? Are those search meaningful in any way?
I’ve set up the search to require a minimum of 3 characters as well but I guess that adding the date requirements pass that validation (and shouldn’t imho)
In any case, my concern is those request are useless request that still require a response from the db and I’d like to avoid that.
Is there any way to turn off the search for non-logged in users? Is there a better way other than that?
