When e.g. top is set as the default landing page, the “Everything” link on the sidebar is highlighted both on latest and also on top.

This is intentional since we consider top as a subset of everything. Was the top link added to a custom sidebar section?

Got it. Thanks, within that perspective it makes sense… 
No, I use top for the landing page, so the link is on the logo. I hide the hover state with CSS, but it flickers briefly before it’s hidden (https://forum.knime.com).
