Hello. I am a Discourse user on another private forum. I noticed that even though I may have muted some topics, if those topics are updated they are still then reflected in the count displayed in the notification at top of forum that tells a user “[count] new or updated topics. Click to show”. This leads to the situation where clicking may (and often does for me and others) show nothing different that what was previously listed. Sometimes a bit confusing…
If this feature is working as intended, please disregard. If it makes sense that this count should only reflect new and un-muted topics, but not muted ones, please consider an appropriate modification.
Si tratta di un Contribute > Bug, ma è un bug molto difficile da risolvere.
Opzione 1:
L’oggetto dell’utente corrente tiene traccia di tutti gli argomenti silenziati, quindi quando riceviamo messaggi controlliamo sempre contro l’elenco (troppo pesante)
Opzione 2:
Il message bus esclude tutti gli utenti che hanno silenziato l’argomento dall’aggiornamento (va bene se solo 10 persone lo hanno silenziato, un disastro se lo hanno silenziato 10000 persone)
Opzione 3:
Aggiungere una richiesta ajax aggiuntiva dopo aver ricevuto un aggiornamento dal message bus che “verifica nuovamente” i dati ottenuti dal message bus. (il male minore, ma aumenta notevolmente il traffico)
Non riesco a pensare a un modo semplice per risolvere questo problema, è solo un compromesso
