Resumen de temas y publicaciones

Hi,

After one year of running our self-hosted travel forum on Discourse, I would like to create an annual report based on the main parameters taken from the Admin Report facility.

During the year, the reports show approximately 2,000 topics and around 20,000 posts.

Question:

Is a topic automatically counted as a post? In our case, that would be 20,000 publications.
or
do I have to count the number of topics plus the number of posts to get the total number of publications, i.e. 20,000 + 2,000 = 22,000?

Thanks for the clarification.

By topic I assume “first post”. I didn’t verify how stats are calculated but I’m 99% sure the answer is “yes”.

Note that naming conventions on Discourse define a “topic” as a collection of posts under the same subject/title.
The first post of a topic is simply named “first post”. Hence the search filter in:first or the shorthand f.

Would be logical, I just want to be sure what I’m counting …
