Using 3.5.1. Enabled the Latex plugin (Katex variant). If I add any
$...$ to the post and try to use the RTE editor, it gives an error “Token type html_raw` not supported by Markdown parser” and then shows blank. I have to switch back to the Markdown editor.
Is this expected and if yes, are there any plans to support it in the RTE editor?

Bug vs. feature is often in the eye of the beholder.
I think Feature is a better place for this one, as we made a conscious decision to ship without complete feature parity. We now have a list of things to consider prioritizing and adding as we go forward, and this is one of them.
