Topic.has_summary is random, not reliable

All of my topics have summaries. But when I get a topic with /t/topic_id.json
and check the has_summary attribute, it’s 50/50. Even if it says has_summary = false, I can see the summary by clicking or with /discourse-ai/summarization/t/topic_id.

That field comes from core, not the AI plugin. It’s true for long topics where you can apply a filter to see only the top replies. This one, for example:

You cannot tell if a topic has a summary from /t/topic_id.json. I believe there is no endpoint for that at the moment.
