To recap, after much trial and error, it seems there are absolutely no administrator settings that will cause the latest topics in ANY subcategory, let alone the most active subcategory to appear first by default
Old topics, in a seldom used subcategory currenly are all that appear.
The ‘Latest’ filter is not working at all - even when I manually filter for the correct subcategory
Clicking ‘Latest’ brings truely ancient posts to the top of the list, and with the posts below that appearing in completely random order - neither in the order of the first post date, or most recent post date.
Positively embarrasing for me!
Is this perhaps evidence of some sort of corruption in my database?
What am I missing here?
