But this is another settings. Its the frequency of sending email. I just want to disable it for new users. but let this frequency be what I want. I enable digest with api call.
I think that this is what you are looking for
Changing this setting means that, by default, all new users (starting after the setting is changed) will have the frequency set to ‘never’. The system is still running, but new users will not start to receive it unless they (or you via API) change their frequency
