No matter the browser I use, I can’t access a community I made in May. I haven’t accessed it since then. I can see the community on id.discourse.com but I can’t access it by its xyz.discourse.group url. Instead I get a connection error that the URL can’t be resolved. I checked my emails and used the link from the initial set up email that I received and it still doesn’t work. So then I tried to re-create it but sure enough the community name is already taken. So I know the site exists, I just can’t get in.
Your site has most likely been scheduled for decommision due to inactivity, which is a requirement on our free plan. You should have gotten a warning email on the associated email address about this.
Because that hasn’t been completed, we still have records with the same name and that’s why you can’t recreate it.
