after the installation the activation mail is not sent. The test email in not received. Here’s the error I get.

Net::SMTPAuthenticationError

Seems pretty clear. Something is wrong with your username or password.

The error appeared because my sever provider supports only AUTH LOGIN, when Discourse uses AUTH PLAIN. I used another SMTP provider and resolved this issue. Now everything works fine.
