Ritchie reported an issue where the Upgrade button in the admin panel does not refresh correctly after upgrading, still showing the blue button even when the upgrade is complete. This issue occurs in both Firefox and Chrome browsers on a Windows PC.
Ritchie shared screenshots of the issue, showing the button remaining clickable even after the upgrade is finished, and only disappearing after a forced refresh (CTRL+F5).
jomaxro was unable to reproduce the issue, stating that the “Up to date” message appears correctly after updating a plugin, without the blue button being offered again. jomaxro clarified that their setup shows “Up to date” only, with no button, remote version, or last updated message.
I’ve noticed that for the last, well, I don’t know how long now, but for a couple of months at least whenever I upgrade via the admin panel, the page doesn’t refresh correctly and it still shows me the blue Upgrade button.
Then when they’ve finished and I come back to the Versions tab, it says last updated 13hrs ago for some reason but the upgrade button is still clickable (I’ve not dared click on it again!)
I am unable to repro this. When I update a plugin, after returning to repo list by clicking versions each repo refreshes one at a time. I never see
without having new commits.
