User automatically to a Group

Hello,

if that possible?

I have created a costum userfield as Dropdown with

  1. Faction 1
  2. Faction 2

The user have to set the Faction on the Register and cant edit it.

Now he should automatically join the Group of his Faction.

I believe this is only supported by email address at the moment. People with certain email addresses (think @companyname.com) will automatically be added to groups as they join the site, if the group has that setting enabled.

yes that way i found :slight_smile: but i need that with that Faction from the userfields maybe someone have a idea

You will have to write a plugin if you want that feature right now.
