There’s nothing Meta-specific there. If you were receiving emails, that must be because you’re “Watching” or “Watching first post” on the category/tag.
Just checking - what do you mean by ‘notification’ here? I don’t think we currently trigger Discourse notifications for new versions. Do you mean something was missing from the dashboard display? If you have any screenshot, that would be great to help identify the issue.
