Advierte al personal antes de que muevan un tema a una categoría a la que el propietario del tema no puede acceder

in our forum on forum.freifunk.net (German) it happens quite often, that topics from new users are moved to categories, where the author or thread started has no access to.

I’d like to suggest a warning during the moving if you’re about to move a topic into a category the thread started can’t access, yet, because of his user level.

You should have a clearly visible rule to regulars TL3 and above that stops them from doing this. Seems like a neat feature!

I guess anyone who has the right to do so. It’s a community, where a lot of people feel the urge to structure discussions .

Anyway, that’s all about usage habits. I still believe that at least a warning would be a good feature.

• Caso:
  • Tenemos muchos (más de 500) usuarios nuevos que publican en la categoría incorrecta. Ejemplo: Categoría de Introducción.
  • Tenemos usuarios a los que se les han otorgado privilegios de moderación por categoría. Ej. Moderación por categoría → Introducción.

• ¿Cómo identificar si el autor original tiene privilegios de acceso a la categoría a la que se está moviendo el tema?

Solución actual: Verificar el historial/actividad del usuario para comprobar si ha publicado previamente en la categoría a la que se va a mover la publicación y luego moverla.

Donde esto falla, ¡¡¡¡¡el usuario no tiene actividad previa pero tiene acceso a la categoría a la que se va a mover la publicación!!!

Quizás como un panel de educación justo a tiempo para el personal… no es una mala idea, pero su utilidad es bastante limitada.
